Clark Hunt Goes Shopping (And Other Mid-Week Fun Stuff)

Word from across the pond is that Clark Hunt might be looking to add another team to his collection. Apparently Hunt Sports Group came out of left field with a £120m buyout offer for West Ham. As of right now, no one is saying anything, which usually means that something is happening, but according to Sean Mitchell the Hunts are flatly denying any interest in acquiring the EPL side, saying that they “kind of have a full plate.” We’ll just have to wait and see.
In other news:
There is still no news about whether Venezuelan striker Emilio (I don’t practice) Renteria will join the Crew. Again, no news probably means something is happening.
Despite what some people are saying, Jason Garey can’t be that much of a redneck. I mean, the kid has a degree in finance from The University Of Maryland. So what if he likes to fish and occasionally squeeze off a few rounds with his buddies, who doesn’t?
