Crew @ San Jose….doubleheader night

The Black and Gold will travel to San Jose this weekend for what is called the Night of Champions. The Crew and San Jose Earthquakes will play the first MLS game ever at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park. Following that match FC Barcelona and Mexico’s Chivas de Guadalajara will face off. Once again the Crew will be missing their leading scorer Guillermo Barros Schelotto as well as defender Frankie Hejduk. As for San Jose, most of their starters will be available. The Crew are coming off a road win against Colorado last week. Chad Marshall scored the game winner with a beautiful free kick about 25 yards from goal. As for San Jose they are coming off a shocking 4-0 win over Seattle. This match will be an intense one. With a Crew win they will secure the first place overall in the league due to Houston’s loss last night to Dallas. Will the Crew take over the lead once again and secure it? Shall we see another Supporter’s Shield in the Crew’s trophy case? Will San Jose shine with glory again like they did with Seattle? Who will be the starting forwards since Moreno is healthy again? Stay tuned and watch as the Crew faces San Jose on FSC at 8:30 est and stick around for the second match as well.

Someone please tell me when Robbie Rogers is going to become a real striker.
I can’t stand watching him waste chances anymore.
