Injury Updates

By: Matt | April 15th, 2009

The Crew have finally got some good news, after seeming endless strings of bad news. It seems that Chad Marshall’s facial injury has been downgraded to facial contusion. Apparently Chad went to a specialist, who determined that he did not suffer a concussion after Atiba Harris of Chivas USA decided to swing his elbows at Chad’s face. Chad’s injury status has been upgraded to “questionable”. Pat Noonan has also been upgraded to “probable” in recent days. Noonan has been suffering from back problems, but has been recovering methodically and has been working on his fitness. Noonan could see some playing time against the Chicago Fire in the Crew’s next match.

Good for Chad, it would be a shame if his career had to end because of some cheap shot.
