Link Dump: Back Ready to Go

Have you all missed me? Since the Crew had a tough match against No-one this weekend, I took a couple days off from the Crew Offside to focus on my other project, the Celtic Offside. A little known fact, the Crew have never lost to No-One, but have also never been able to beat No-One and that trend continued this weekend. All jokes aside, I’m sorry for the lack of material this past week, but I am hoping that some pictures of a pretty pretty girl and some suggestions to check out other bloggers in the land of the black and gold will put us on even footing. Deal?
First, Crewture tells us about the Crew taking a look at former Polish National U21 Squad Member David Topolski. Topolski appeared with Lech Poznan as well as in the Polish National Team system and was featured as a guest player for the Crew in a recent reserve game against Marshall University. Check out what Ryan and co. at Crewture had to say about it here!
The Black and Gold Standard brings us the recent interview that Crew captain and general chilled out “brah” Frankie Hejduk had in Sports Illustrated. It turns out all we thought about Super Frank was true, the guy likes to surf, likes soccer, and likes California. Check it out here!
If that is not enough Frankie Brah coverage for your liking, Soccer is a Kick in the Grass also did a interview with the Crew captain on their online radio show. Check that out here!
The Columbus Dispatch did a nice little human interest piece on Crew forward Alejandro Moreno. The Dispatch talks about Ale’s return back to the Venezuelan National Team, his upbringing in Venezuela, and his plans to live in America in the future. Check that out.
Finally, some Los Angeles publication, The Daily Breeze, which sounds like it would give the news for Maury Seinfeld’s retirement community, published “What to love-and loathe-the MLS” and it gives the Crew a few mentions. Check it out here.
