Stop the presses…Sports Illustrated covers soccer?
By: scott | August 16th, 2007So, here’s something interesting for those of you patiently waiting for Crew v. DC United. An SI special report on non-other than Guille. It’s not the most in depth reporting but it sure beats another article about David Beckham, oh, they have one of those too.

If you couple this report–and the positive tone of his comments about the Crew, MLS, the States–with Offside Columbus reader Dave Martinez’s suggestion that Schelotto’s doctor says Guille loves Columbus, it looks like we have two years of success to look forward to. Even more than we might originally have thought, the Boca legend’s impression on our humble black and gold empire appears to be limitless.
